Hey my favorite readers, tonight I watched a movie on Netflix and it was CRAZY! The film is called Karla and it’s about 11 years old but still worth the watch if you’re interested in psychological thrillers. It is based on the true story of Canada, serial killer/rapist Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka.
I definitely had a lot of mixed emotions watching this film, because Karla is honestly yet truly, STUPID!
I won’t spoil too much but pretty much everything crazy Paul wanted Karla did because she claimed she was so “in love” with him and did not want to lose him… total BS.
Bernardo was really physical towards Karla, which is why the whole time I was confused as to why she was in love with a psychiatric bastard. She clearly wasn’t into the whole “come have sex with these women I kidnapped “yet, she still did it anyway to make him happy. But, when she did one wrong mistake she got eight punches to the face and a black eye to match.
So yeah, if you are high on supporting feminism I don’t recommend this movie to you because it’s filled with domestic violence… clearly.
Other than that, this movie was pretty decent yet very abusing.
